Love Nancy News!

After careful consideration, Love Nancy has closed in-person programming. The pandemic affected so many people, businesses, and nonprofits. But, we are still here.

The programs may change but the fight continues. We will continue to assist families and caregivers of those living with Alzheimer's disease, progressive memory impairments, and special needs. Love Nancy will soon begin offering scholorship opportunities to families and caregivers of those affected by Alzheimer's disease, memory impairments, and special needs.

Application process and more information to come!

Thank you to everyone for your contiuned support of our organization!

Love Nancy relies on fundraisers, grants, and donations to help support their Scholorship programs. You can donate by visiting the Donate tab on Love Nancy's website. You can also visit our Facebook page or Amazon Wish List on amazon.com to contribute. Love Nancy is a nonprofit 501c3 organization and your gift could be tax-deductible. Thank you for your continued support!

In loving memory of Pam Dietrich. She was a longtime family friend and dedicated volunteer to Love Nancy. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Dietrich family.

The Adventures of Supermom

MariaShiver.com

January 31, 2014

This is the story of a family forever changed by Alzheimer’s. It is told in honor of my “SuperMom,” Nancy Haug Patten. She raised four children: my sister Amy, me, my brother Charlie, and our youngest sister Maggie. Mom was amazing! She loved animals and “oldies” music. She was an accomplished nurse, much beloved by her patients. Alzheimer’s took all of that away.
